Enhanced Heat Transfer Performance of the Tube Heat Exchangers Using Carbon-Based Nanofluids

The wet ball milling method was used and a dispersant (gum Arabic) added to prepare various concentrations (0.05 0.2 wt%) of carbon-based nanofluids (CBNFs) by two-step synthesis as working fluids for heat exchange. CBNFs were actually in tube exchanger (THE) transfer performance experiments. water estimated under different heating powers flow rates fluid. pump power consumption (Ppe) 0.05 wt% CBNF found be similar that water, but the Ppe higher than water. convective coefficient (HTC) HTC optimal at 120 W 80 W, respectively. average about 3.33% while 4.52% Considering concomitantly, best overall system exhibited CBNFs.
